Working backstage

We may have been silent for some time, but deep underground in our dungeon many things are being cooked. Our code monkeys keep working on things only the Devil“s know what, but really, nobody really cares about them, i dont, do you?. The big news is that a total graphical rework is being implemented, finally tearing down ugly walls and something red that was passing for lava:

Current open tasks (urgent help wanted/needed!)

Hi to all friends of OpenDungeons! :)

If you follow our forum, blog or repository logs you may have noticed that the current activity is rather low. This is mainly because nobody of us has the time or ability to work a lot on OpenDungeons currently. That’s why we are going to present a number of concrete tasks in this blog post that need to be done.

If you are interested open the full blog post for the list and feel free to contact us. Thanks. :)

OpenGameArt: OpenDungeons Weekly Challenge

The nice guys at OGA have decided to make OpenDungeons the Weekly Challenge, and we like that ;) So here is a list of stuff that we really need and hope you would like to contribute in making :)

  • Concept art (and maybe models for some of the creatures with concepts) for the Humans
  • Concept art (and maybe models for some of the creatures with concepts) for the Undead
  • Music for the game, currently we have not decided on any particular style for each faction, so we are currently just looking for something suitable to use in the alpha until the game gets more developed.
  • Sounds for the game. We have a few sounds but not many, right now we are mostly looking for ambient sounds (see the link) like water, lava, creatures being hit etc.
